If the HotSync manager of Palm OS is installed on your system, it's likely that the Palm HotSync manager should be restarted before you are able to see the DiveSync(c) conduit in the custom menu of the Palm HotSync manager. Note: If you don't find the SharkPoint DiveSync conduit in the Palm HotSync conduit manager, please use the search & registration tool. The DreamDives search & registration tool is a program, which searches for the Palm Hotsync software on your system and register the DreamDives DiveSync conduit software to the Windows registration service. You will find a search & registration tool shortcut in the DreamDives SharkPoint. If you've installed SharkPoint v1 before You can install to the same machine (though to a different location) as another version of the product. If you want to install to the same directory as an existing version, uninstall the existing version first. In either case, you should back up any other important data, including existing dive logbooks that you intend to use with this version. Installing from a network or shared drive If installing from a network or shared drive, you must map a drive letter to the server and folder that contains the SETUP program that initiates installation of this product. Performing a Custom installation To conserve disk space, you can perform a custom installation, selecting only the options you require. To do so, select the Custom radio button in the Select Components during installation. Disk space required for the total custom installation and individual options is displayed as you select or deselect options. Update your SharkPoint for Palm logbook database SharkPoint v1.5 for Palm has a new logbook database format. When you update your current SharkPoint for Palm, for example, from version 1.3 to 1.5 you have to perform a logbook update with the Palm device "SharkPointUPDate.prc" program, which is installed in the SharkPoint directory on your desktop. Run the update program on your Palm device and delete it after a successful database update.
